Hanger Dinner/Dance This year the theme will include a salute to veterans of all branches of the services, recognizing the honor and valor of our fallen service men and women, and including the ultimate sacrifice of five young men from the City of Terrell. HANGAR DINNER/DANCE: Catered meal; adult beverages; The Heritage Brass Band (1940’s music & the “Andrews Sisters”); art and garden display. Reception from 6:30 to 7:00 pm. Flag Raising Ceremony 7:15 am ; Pancake Breakfast from 7:30 – 10:30 am; vintage planes begin arriving at 9:00 am; Lecture by Tom Killebrew, author of The RAF in Texas” at 10:00 am; Opening Ceremonies at 12:00 noon with local and State Dignitaries and Marine Color Guard; All day happenings include Parachute jumps; hot air balloon, static plane demonstrations; plane rides.
